Day 1: Monday Luxor

Embarkation & Dinner on board of the cruise. Time to unpack, explore the ship and relax. Overnight on board the cruise in Luxor

 
Day 2: Tuesday Luxor & Esna

Breakfast on board, then to the West Bank visiting the Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, the principal burial place of royal figures of the Egyptian New Kingdom. Then on to the Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, situated beneath the cliffs at Deir at Bahari, and dedicated to the sun god Amon-Ra. On the way back to the ship, there is a quick photo opportunity at the Temple & Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhoteb III.
Return to the ship and sail to Esna lock, onwards to Edfu. Overnight on board the cruise in Edfu.

 
Day 3: Wednesday Edfu / Kom-Ombo

Breakfast on board, then a visit to the temple of God Horus, son of Osiris, this is one of the most complete architectures in Egypt, where colours inside the temples are still visible.

Return to the ship, and sail through to Kom-Ombo and arrive in Aswan just after dinner. Overnight on board the cruise in Aswan
 
Day 4: Thursday Aswan

Breakfast on board the cruise. Visit Temple of Philae, the burial place of Osiris. This temple is situated between the old dam and high dam on Lake Nasser, it’s reached by motor boat. A visit to the dams is scheduled on the way.
Lunch is served on board the ship, and a little later enjoy a relaxing excursion around Elephantine Island and the Botanical gardens by Felucca boat.

Day 5: Friday Aswan

Free day at leisure and possible optional tours

Day 6: Saturday Kom-Ombo / Edfu / Esna

Enjoy breakfast while sailing to Kom-Ombo. On arrival visit the temple of Kom-Ombo by horse and carriage. Unusually this is a double temple built in honour of Horus the falcon god, and Sobek the crocodile god.
Sail onwards to Edfu and through the Esna Lock back to Luxor.

Day 7: Sunday Luxor

Breakfast on board of the cruise, followed by a visit to the East Bank. Saving the best till last, visit  Karnak Temple, comprising of collection of temples, chapels, pylons and sacred ancient lake. After, explore Luxor Temple where famously a mosque was built over the ruins. Return to the ship in time for a late lunch, and reflect on a wonderful week. Overnight on board the cruise in Luxor
